The most important element of a quality culture is the people involved and each has a responsibility for enforcing standards with the person next to them. For this reason we have always utilised apprenticeships to develop long-term key staff members who understand the requirements. Typically 10% of our total work force is currently in an apprenticeship and many more have graduated and stayed with the business. This has driven us to quality levels unheard of in our industry, with over 99.5% of products arriving on site with no issues reported.
